Dental implantation is one of the most effective and widely used methods for restoring missing teeth and improving oral function and aesthetics. The long-term success of implant treatment largely depends on the accuracy of diagnosis and the quality of preoperative examination. A comprehensive patient assessment makes it possible to identify systemic diseases, local oral conditions, anatomical limitations, bone quality, periodontal status, and other risk factors that may affect osseointegration and implant survival. Modern diagnostic methods, including clinical examination, radiographic assessment, cone-beam computed tomography, laboratory investigations, and evaluation of the patient’s medical history, allow the clinician to create an individualized treatment plan.
